My Teaching philosophy is to provide a warm and friendly environment for sharing and teaching the love of music and playing the piano. Parents and their children learning together and having fun what a great way to get a music education!
My classes are high energy, a lot of fun and very rewarding for all. Students graduate from the MYC program with their Grade One Royal Conservatory and a very strong background both technically and theoretically. Music education has been proven to help children in many areas of their learning. Did you know... Grade 7 and 8 piano certificates can also be used for high school credits?
I have been teaching piano privately for 30 years and MYC for 30 years.
In 2011 I graduated from the Royal Conservatory of Toronto with my Teaching Degree. (Associate of the RCM (ARCT)). I love teaching piano and music knowledge to children and their parents too. I teach a wide variety of ages (4 to 74) I hope to hear from you soon.

FALL 2026 schedule
MYC classes; (for transferring or new students)
Sunshine 1: introductory piano level for 4 year olds. Mondays 6 pm
Sunbeams 3: Tuesdays 5:45 pm
Sunbeams 1: introductory level for 5-6 year olds
Thursdays 5:45 pm and Saturdays 10 am
Studio Description
My music studio features: large studio area and a waiting area; 1 grand piano, 1 upright piano, 1 digital piano and 4 touch sensitive keyboards; a large assortment of rhythm instruments; music games, apps, great visual aids to help children in the learning process.
I am located near Longfields drive and Chapman Mills drive.
Rates and Prices
Music for Young Children Classes are weekly, 1 hour with parent participation. It has been proven to be very successful when a parent is teaming up with their child to help in learning.
Rates: amounts for books, materials varies slightly between levels so I will give you the information once you inquire.
Tuition; MYC weekly 1 hour lessons are 29$
Tuition for private instruction is 39$ weekly, 30 minutes
Other (Policies and Descriptions)
I do teach privately during the summer months. MYC group classes and private lessons commence week of Labour Day Monday. Classes run to second week of June.
MYC: 33 lessons and 3 recitals
Private: 35 lessons and 3 recitals
