Every morning, my cat finds a way to wake me up, either by meowing or by pawing my face. I can’t figure out if it’s hunger, attention, or just his internal alarm clock.
I totally get it, sometimes it’s hard to know if they’re hungry, want attention, or just have their own schedule. To make mornings easier, I got an automatic cat feeder for my cat. It makes sure he gets his food on time and might help with the meowing if it’s because he’s hungry. It’s been a big help.
I’ve found that a consistent schedule makes a big difference, even when you’re not there. Also, leaving some comfort items, like a blanket or your worn t-shirt, can help ease the loneliness a bit!
