Hey guys! I’m planning to apply to university in Ontario. How complicated is the system? Do I have to apply to each university separately or is there centralized platform? How long does it take to process my application?
Hi! You need to use OUAC – it’s centralized application service. It allows you to apply to several universities at once, which is very convenient. The process is pretty simple: you create an account, choose programs, upload the necessary documents and pay for the application. If you want to understand in more detail, I recommend you look here: https://www.uscaacademy.com/ouac-application/ . Everything is explained there clearly, so you will not get confused. The processing time depends on the university, but the earlier you apply, the better!
OUAC is a really convenient system. I applied through it last year, and it saved lot of time. The main thing is to keep an eye on the deadlines, because some programs close admission earlier. I also advise you to prepare all the documents in advance and work out a motivation letter well. Universities are taking notice!
