I’m getting ready for Halloween and want to dive into some seriously creepy horror books this year. Does anyone have suggestions that will really get me into the Halloween spirit? I stumbled across a blog with some recommendations, but I’d love to hear if anyone else has read the books they suggest.
Absolutely, getting into some spooky reads is perfect for Halloween! If you’re looking to seriously get creeped out, I’d recommend checking out this blog https://booksrun.com/blog/best-horror-books-to-read-before-halloween/ I found that has a list of horror books just for this season. They’ve got some real classics along with a few newer titles, so there’s something for everyone. One that caught my eye was The Haunting of Hill House—it’s a classic for a reason and perfect for that eerie, ghostly atmosphere. They also mention The Shining, which is full of suspense and had me on edge the entire time. What I loved most about this list is that it covers different horror styles, so you can pick based on the type of fear factor you’re into. If you’re ready to dive into a world of horror, this list is such a good place to start!
Thanks so much for the recommendation! I’ve been looking for a site like this with curated horror lists to get ready for Halloween. I love exploring different horror styles, so I’m definitely going to give this blog a look and see what they suggest. Can’t wait to dive into some new creepy reads!
