About Me:
I discovered this fantastic program and have been teaching Music for Young Children's program for 15 years. It is an amazing program that provides a strong foundation in music while using a host of fun ideas (includes different styles of learning) to capture a child's interest. I also enjoy the fact that parents know what to expect at home! It gives more confidence for everyone!
A little about me: I have played piano since I was 7 years old. I grew up in a musical family. I have completed my Grade 10 piano along with the relevant theory and history examinations. I enjoy playing piano. I've played for various groups, a band and church situations. I also enjoy working with children since they are so full of life and curiosity. I have completed the Special Needs Educational Program at MacEwan University. I presently work as an Education Assistant with the Edmonton Catholic School Distract. I also worked with the GRIT Program here in the city. This has given me experience in working with children who have special needs.

***Classes are open for registration for September 2024! I'm excited to be receiving your registration and to meet you (Zoom or in person).
A note regarding this website - when it says you are registered it means that your information will come to me as an inquiry. I will follow up to your email to finish the registration as this also gives you an opportunity to meet me and to see if MYC is the right fit for you and your child. Please book early as I am getting a more inquiries than usual.
Private lessons are available for students who have completed the MYC program or are in higher levels of piano. Please email me at keynotes@telus.net

Rates and Prices
Monthly Fees $100.00 This can be paid by cheque each month or by two or three installments for first year students September to December, January to March, and April to June. Please see policies regarding fees.
Classroom Fee $40 annually
Registration Fees:
Music Time
Sunrise (1 Block = 10 lessons) x 3 blocks Each block is $235 (includes books) Geared to 3 and 4 year old children.
**Music Time (10 week classes for children 0-5, including book) $225 (includes books)
Sunshine 1 (4 years old) $207.25 for registration, $100/month for lessons and classroom fee ($40)
Sunbeam 1 (must be 5 before September) $207.25 for registration and $100/month for lessons and classroom fee of $40
Moonbeams 1, My Choice & Music Your Best Choice $207.25 (My Choice and Music Your Best Choice are teen and adult classes respectively). Monthly fees of $100/month and classroom fee($40).
These prices are subject to change as the registration fees are from the Music for Young Children head office.
Other (Policies, descriptions)
**Music takes time to practice. There is more success when you carve this time out. If you have questions please feel free to ask! I love to encourage you and give you creative ways to practice if you need it.
It is important that parents realize this is a time commitment. Once classes have passed the first month you must pay for the complete year if you choose to stop (just like sports). The policy needs to be signed as part of your registration as there are other parts of the policy you need to read. It will be emailed to you when you request a registration package.
If you make a referral to another family and they register I will give you a discount for the month of October.
